Function

The Assistant Manager of Cash Operations and Player Services is responsible for the operation of the Cage & Player Services Department. Assist in developing and implementing procedures to ensure the security of gaming funds, assets, and players’ information. Provide quality guest service to increase rated play. Support special events and promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the department’s budget and financial data.
  • Review staffing levels and delegate duties accordingly.
  • Approve payroll and develop operational procedures.
  • Communicate with operational departments regarding services, promotions, and events.
  • Develop team members, conduct interviews, hiring, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure safety and security of team members and guests, adhering to policies and regulations.
  • Monitor cash on hand and report activities.
  • Act as Managerial Representative on premises if needed.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA and other policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Standards of Performance
  • Effective management of the cage department.
  • Strong staff management and guest service skills.
  • Professional relationships among personnel.
  • Flexibility in shifts, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to navigate multiple systems.
Requirements
  • Five to seven years of experience in gaming cage operations or banking, with a 4-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid Racing License.
  • Applicants must be 21 or older.
