Qualifications

• Ability to cross-train for various duties/responsibilities in the kitchen/cafeteria
• Physical ability to walk, stoop, stand, twist, and squat on a constant basis
• Capable of lifting 25 – 50 lbs. occasionally
• Maintain excellent attendance
• Ability to get along well with others
• Have strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to follow oral and/or written directions

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Have at least a high school diploma or GED
• Maintain 12 hours of food safety training yearly and have or obtain Serve Safe Certification
• Slip resistant footwear is required
• Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check

Preferred:

• Work-related experience in kitchen/food service and/or leadership/management

Compensation:

• Competitive pay based upon experience

Contracted days:

• 180 school days plus any required classified staff workdays per school year
