Job summary

Panera in Mount Pleasant, SC is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead a bakery-cafe team. You’ll support the General Manager, coach staff, and ensure top-notch guest experiences while upholding food safety and brand standards.

You’ll build a positive culture, schedule shifts, hire and train new teammates, oversee operations, and drive sales and profitability. Open availability, 18+, drug screen and background check required, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cafe staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Plan staffing needs, shift scheduling, and staff development.
• Hire and train new team members and keep the team motivated and engaged.
• Manage team performance to meet cafe goals and quality standards.
• Coach managers and associates and delegate responsibilities as needed.
