Job summary

Panera is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a bakery-cafe team, support the General Manager, and drive guest experiences, quality, and profitability. You will coach, develop, and supervise staff while maintaining Panera standards and a positive work environment.

You will manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance, while ensuring food safety and customer service excellence. This role offers the chance to advance toward broader leadership opportunities within Panera.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Commitment to health and food safety standards.
