Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assistant Cafe Leader in Los Angeles to act as the on-shift leader when the General Manager is unavailable. You will oversee front-and-back-of-house operations, onboard and mentor staff, and help improve the cafe's profitability through daily operational excellence.

You will be cross-trained across roles, maintain quality standards, and uphold G&B and GGET values as part of a positive team environment in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver excellent guest service.
• Strong time management and delegation to run shifts smoothly.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate the team.
• Basic knowledge of espresso extraction and coffee service.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and develop cafe team.

Job Title: Assistant Cafe LeaderReports to: General ManagerClassification: Full-time, hourlyWage: $21-23/hour + tips + potential shop performance bonusWhat's the job?Assistant Cafe Leaders (ACLs) are managers in training. They operate as the go-to person when the General Manager is not available and anticipate the needs of their team and cafe. The ACL collaborates with their manager to improve the cafe’s P&L statement through day-to-day operational support. They are cross-trained in the front and back of the house, while able to maintain quality standards across every position.
