Sur La Table is seeking an Assistant Buyer to drive day-to-day SKU execution, data integrity, and cross-department coordination across stores and digital channels. You will own lifecycle management, promotional workflows, and vendor asset coordination for your categories, enabling on-time delivery of the department's strategic vision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in buying, merchandising planning, or merchandising support.
• 1+ years in business planning and data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail with multiple deadlines across departments.
• Strong analytical ability and retail math skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Comfort adopting and developing AI-powered tools to improve speed and accuracy of recurring work.

Responsabilités

• Create and set up new SKUs, including item set-up sheets and vendor assets.
• Own ongoing SKU maintenance: pricing, status, case pack, and style numbers.
• Maintain product data in the PIM system for digital buildout.
• Enter promotional sessions and track price changes.
• Coordinate requests and approvals through the project system.
• Own SKU lists for cross-department needs using Excel/Smartsheet.
• Serve as day-to-day contact with vendors for assets and requests.
• Manage sample requests and vendor coordination for launches.
• Proof pricing and copy across channels for accuracy.
• Maintain line lists for visual merchandising and seasonal floorsets.
• Support business reporting by pulling sales and inventory data.
• Keep compliance trackers for assigned departments.
