Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years retail merchandising experience in an Assistant Buyer capacity with extensive vendor contact.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships and credibility with vendors through frequent in-person meetings.
• Own and manage reporting processes to provide actionable analysis and recommendations to the Buyer.
• Manage purchase orders and process markdowns to ensure timely delivery of key shipments.
• Provide timely analysis of key business issues using retail math and stock/Open-to-Buy data.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and source new resources to affect assortment decisions.
• Learn speed of spending concepts, Open-to-Buy management, and packaway strategies.
