The Assistant Buyer role at Crecera Brands supports our Sportsman's Guide and related brands by assisting the Lead Merchant in purchasing and developing assortments. You will help plan product selection and ensure effective merchandising and marketing across channels.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and inventory teams to optimize promotions, pricing, and sell-through. This position reports to the Lead Merchant and may handle specific categories over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of experience in merchandising, buying, inventory management, or product development preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maximizes sales of an online assortment through effective product presentation and accurate advertising content.
• Monitors competitors' pricing, content, promotions and assortment; communicates recommendations to meet objectives.
• Collaborates on Owned Brand product development.
• Partners with Inventory Analyst to identify slow turning items and aging inventory; creates action plans to maximize margins.
• Implements strategic category direction through assortment, marketing recommendations, promotions, and content for all sales channels.
• Based on performance, may manage specific category purchasing.
• Performs related work as required or assigned.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Assistant Buyer willassistthe Lead Merchant in allfacetsof the purchasing process. Utilizing product and industry knowledge, the Assistant Buyer will aid in the development of assortment strategies and provide recommendations for product selection. This individual will also work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure products are effectively merchandised and marketed on all channels. This position will support our Sportsman's Guide shooting and firearms categories and will reportdirectly to the Lead Merchant.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Maximizesales ofan assortment of itemsonline through effective product presentation andaccurateadvertising content. Manages promotional pricing and discontinued product cadence for all brands.
• Monitors competitor's pricing, content, promotions and assortment through internet, directmailand store visit research.Communicates withrecommendations to ensure products are priced and promoted to meet establishedobjectives.
• Collaborates on Owned Brand product development.
• Partners with Inventory Analyst toidentifyslow turning items and aged inventory.Identifiesand createsappropriate actionplans managing sell through to maximize margin rates whileattaininginventory goals.
• Implements strategic category direction through assortment, marketing recommendations, promotional planning, and content for all sales channels. Collaborates on internal marketing plans including homepage features, email, and SMS.
• Based on performance and experience, may manage specific category purchasing.
• Performs related work asrequiredor assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of experience in merchandising, buying, inventorymanagement,or product development preferred.
• Knowledgeof the shooting sports categories within the Firearmindustry a plus.
• Results driven and resourceful with strong creative thinking, analytical andproblem-solvingskills.
• Excellent interpersonal,written,and verbal communication skills.
• Proven history of collaboration across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational skills. Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial-like mind witha team-centered approach.
• Computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Domestic travel up to 5% may berequired.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000
