Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building upkeep and repairs in a high-rise setting in Las Vegas. You will handle carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to keep facilities safe and functional.

Under direction from the Building Engineer, you will ensure preventive maintenance and responsive service across fixtures, doors, lights, gutters, drains, and related systems, with an emphasis on reliability and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Physical ability to bend/lift to 25 lbs and move up to 20 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Carry out carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Clean and repair fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls and floors.
• Operate and maintain HVAC equipment and related systems.

This position takes direction from the Building Engineer and develops skills in some or all of the following areas: maintaining, and repairing building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, window and door screens, flooring material, gutters, and drains. The maintenance technician will take care of maintenance duties involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to guarantee that the building is properly and safely maintained

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience:

• 1 – 2 years of maintenance experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the functions of this job. Frequent stooping, standing, walking, sitting, and reaching are required.

• Ability to bend/lift to 25 lbs.
• Ability to move 15 lbs. of force frequently and 20 lbs. of force occasionally.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbally & in writing).
• Ability to operate necessary equipment & visually interpret data.
• Inside environmental elements mostly, walking between buildings outside.
• Repetitive movements.

Availability:

• Flexible schedule, 7 days per week, on-call

Language Skills:

The individual must have good written and verbal communication skills.
