In the absence of the Bridge and Hydraulics Engineer, this role assumes full responsibility for ongoing projects and continuity of work.

Key qualifications:

• Current registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois
• Four years of experience in civil engineering
• Strong computer skills including CAD, web-based databases, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to conduct engineering research and write technical reports
• Valid driver's license and availability for district-wide travel
