Job summary

Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, seeks an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all aspects of branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in guiding day-to-day activities at the branch.

The role requires leadership experience in a warehouse setting, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. US work eligibility and willingness to open/close the warehouse are essential.

Qualifications

• High school/ GED required.
• At least 2 years leadership in warehouse-related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Eligible to work in United States.
• Available to open/close the warehouse Mon-Fri and Saturdays as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license for driving company vehicles.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Understand staffing requirements and cross-department functions.
• Able to multitask and be a self-starter.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to branch operations.
• Understanding of P&L and powered equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assume day-to-day branch operations.
• Model and enforce safety and security procedures across the team.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Maintain a customer-service oriented philosophy in all conduct.
• Assist Branch Operations Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, budgeting, and performance reviews.
• Use vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
