Position Overview

The Financial Center Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising daily operations and leading the sales and service team to meet performance goals. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance, supporting customer needs, and driving sales initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and security.
  • Manage financial center operations, conduct audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available to support customer needs.
  • Review work, provide guidance, and make decisions within scope of authority.
  • Maintain security controls to prevent fraud and mitigate risks.
  • Assist customers with financial needs, including opening accounts and originating loans.
  • Partner with the manager to set and achieve sales and service goals.
  • Supervise staff, manage schedules, and monitor performance, ensuring excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of related experience or financial education.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Notary or ability to obtain one preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration for mortgage-related activities.
  • Flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
Skills and Requirements

Strong reading, writing, and math skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; supervisory capabilities; physical ability to perform job duties; valid driver’s license required.
