Job summary

White Cap Management LLC is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager in Concord, NH. You will support branch sales and operations, manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence, and help drive profitability.

The role requires coordinating procurement, inventory, shipping, and customer service while ensuring accurate billing and staff scheduling. Preferred candidates have forklift experience, knowledge of Oracle-based systems, construction product familiarity, and Spanish language skills, with a 5+

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence and assist with strategies to drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per company policies.
• Investigate customer complaints and inventory discrepancies; adjust resources as needed.
• Serve customers and support counter and inside sales; ensure accurate, timely billing; schedule staff and monitor budgets.

An Assistant Branch Manager at White Cap...

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager's absence. Assists the manager in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
• Assists with the coordination of procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures established by the organization.
• Solves problems at the branch level. Investigates customer complaints involving matters such as damaged items, overcharges, and shipment/delivery delays. Makes necessary resource adjustments.
• Manages operational branch level problems, investigates inventory discrepancies, and makes adjustments as required.
• Serves customers and supports the counter and inside sales functions as necessary. Ensures all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner. Schedules staff and analyzes budgets and variances.

Generally has 5+ years of experience.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
