Job summary

Tooele County School District in Utah is seeking an extracurricular coach to lead student athletes.

You will instruct students in sport fundamentals, develop drills and game plans, motivate academics and performance, and coordinate trips, rallies and team events. Experience as an athlete or coach is preferred. Seasonal employment with stipends paid at season end.

Applicants must have a high school diploma and be at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity
• Experience as an athlete and/or coach
• Work closely with program Head Coach
• Ability to motivate, teach, and lead
• Energetic, responsible, dependable, self motivated and punctual
• Excellent public relation skills and work effectively with staff, parents and administration
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps and competitions
