Job description

Assistant Boys Swimming Coach

The role of the assistant boys swimming coach is to support the head coach in all aspects of the boys swimming program, coaching and providing direction to student-athletes within the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of all district and MHSAA rules governing extracurricular athletics.
Attend all practices and events during the season.
Have prior coaching experience and knowledge of the sport of swimming.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Support teaching staff in a manner that promotes Garden City Schools.
Demonstrate the ability to work positively and professionally with students, parents, community members, fellow coaches, and game officials.
