Job summary

Brainerd Public Schools in Minnesota seeks an Assistant Boys Swim Coach for the middle school program. This role provides leadership, applies the rules, strategies and safety knowledge to prepare student-athletes to compete at their best.

You will work under the Head Coach and Activities Director, coordinate with families and staff, and help maintain compliance with district policies while fostering growth and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively with parents, students, and other staff.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to accept and follow direction.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• General office skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Coach provides leadership and expertise regarding the rules, strategies, and techniques for the assigned activity, utilizing knowledge of the specific equipment, physical fitness and safety to prepare participants mentally and physically to compete at the highest level.
