Job summary

Saint Louis Park Independent School District 283 HS-ATHLETIC in St. Louis Park, Minnesota seeks an Assistant Boys Swim Coach to support the Head Coach in building a competitive, disciplined team and mentoring players both on and off the pool deck.

The role reports to the Athletics Director, is temporary/seasonal and stipend-based, with responsibilities spanning training, game preparation, skill development, and team culture, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Coaching experience at youth or school level is preferred.
• Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting effective training sessions.
• Provide technical instruction to enhance player skills.
• Monitor performance and offer constructive feedback.
• Encourage conditioning and injury prevention.
• Help develop game plans and tactical decisions.
• Review game footage and identify areas for improvement.
