Job summary

Pullman High School, part of the Pullman School District 267, invites applications for an Assistant Boys Swim Coach to help develop a competitive swim program in Pullman, WA. You will assist the Head Coach with practice planning, student-athlete growth, and program promotion within district guidelines.

Qualifications include competitive coaching or playing experience, First Aid/CPR, swim safety or lifeguarding certification, and the ability to obtain a district Type II driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Successful competitive playing and/or coaching experience.
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Swim safety or lifeguarding certification.
• Ability to obtain a Pullman School District Type II driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of a successful swim program.
• Work under the immediate supervision of the Head Coach.
• Meet preparation and positive program presentation to the community.
• Work within WIAA/Greater Spokane League and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with Aquatic Center personnel and develop players.
• Coordinate player development and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
