A leading educational institution is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Boys Soccer program. The role involves supporting the Head Coach in developing student athletes physically, socially, and emotionally. Ideal candidates will have coaching experience and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED operation. This position requires empathy, positivity, and the ability to work within a high school environment.
Duties of the Position: Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Boys Soccer program as assigned. The coach’s leadership must positively impact the physical, social, and emotional development of student athletes.

Special Skills Required: Knowledge of soccer, coaching high school students, and high school coaching experience preferred. Demonstrates empathy, positivity, trust, responsibility, discipline, and flexibility. A developer, teacher, achiever, and problem solver.
Understanding of the dynamics, expectations, and realistic demands of a high school environment.
Degree/Special Training: Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED operation, with ongoing certification. Coaches not licensed to teach must complete a coaching fundamentals course.
Work Schedule: Must be available for practices and meets during the Fall season, and coordinate or facilitate summer open gyms and contact days.
