Job summary

Nashua South High School is seeking a dedicated athletic coach to organize practices and games, monitor student-athlete academics, and manage uniform logistics. The role involves budget input to the Athletic Director and collaboration with college coaches for recruitment guidance.

The position includes responsibility for applying basic first aid, orienting participants to a well-structured program, and supporting student success throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification is required.
• Criminal records check is required prior to starting.
• Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required.

• Prepare budget recommendations for the Athletic Director.
• Monitor academic progress of student athletes throughout the school year.
• Issue and collect uniforms.
• Apply simple first aid procedures.
• Provide orientation of a sound program to all pupil participants.
• Communicate with colleges and university coaches regarding attributes of student athletes.
• Assist qualified players in identifying colleges or universities and educate them on the college recruiting process.
• Perform other related responsibilities as designated by the Athletic Director.
