Job summary

Nashua High School North in Nashua, NH seeks an Assistant Ski Coach for Winter 2026. This stipend-based post involves organizing practices and games, while supporting student-athletes academically and athletically.

CPR and First Aid certification are required, along with a criminal records check before starting. Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required, with duties managed under the Athletic Director.

Responsibilities

• Organize practices and games.
• Prepare budget recommendations for the Athletic Director.
• Monitor the academic progress of student athletes throughout the school year.

• Provide an orientation of a sound program to all pupil participants.
• Communicate with colleges and university coaches regarding the attributes of the student athlete.
• Assist qualified players in identifying colleges or universities while educating the athlete to the college recruiting process.
• Other related responsibilities as designated by the Athletic Director.

Summary Of Responsibilities

Coaching responsibilities include organizing practices and games, preparing recommendations for the budget to the Athletic Director, as well as, monitoring the academic progress of student athletes throughout the school year. Other duties include issuing and collecting uniforms, applying simple first aid procedures, providing an orientation of a sound program to all pupil participants, communicating with colleges and university coaches regarding the attributes of the student athlete, assisting qualified players in identifying colleges or universities while educating the athlete to the college recruiting process, and other related responsibilities as designated by the Athletic Director.
