The position runs through 10/29/2026; salary is $17.13 per hour and the job is not benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some coaching experience; age 19+ per policy.
• Must hold First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Lifeguard or Red Cross safety training may be required for swimming-related sports.

Responsibilities

• Supervises student athletes to promote learning through athletic participation.
• Assists head coach in preparing athletes physically and mentally for contests; administers discipline fairly and emphasizes safety.
• Oversees practices to develop athletes' potential; teaches fundamental skills and promotes sportsmanship; follows Coaches’ Handbook.
• Follows district procedures for handling injuries.
• Oversees equipment issuance, maintains records, ensures return of gear, performs weekly safety checks, and manages inventory.
• Attends district and building athletic meetings and stays updated on rules; performs related duties as assigned.
