Job summary

THREE RIVERS/JOSEPHINE COUNTY SD seeks an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Fleming Middle School in Grants Pass, Oregon. This limited-term position supports the season and starts immediately.

The coach will develop players, oversee the program, and collaborate with staff and families while upholding district standards and a character-building philosophy. NFHS certification and CPR/AED are required, along with district fingerprinting and OSAA certifications.

Qualifications

• NFHS Certification
• First Aid Card (CPR and AED trained)
• District fingerprinting /Criminal check
• Completion of all OSAA Certifications
• Completion of ODE Steroid Test
• Completion of all School District paperwork
• Completion of Safe Schools trainings

Responsibilities

• Help build a successful basketball program and oversee all facets of the program
• Be a role model for middle school student athletes
• Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports by encouraging athletes to compete in Fall and Spring programs
• Monitor the academic progress and attendance of the basketball players
