Payette High School in Payette, Idaho, is seeking an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025–2026 school year to support student-athletes in developing basketball skills, teamwork, discipline, and positive attitudes.
The position involves attending practices and games, helping organize sessions, ensuring safety and fair play, communicating with families and administration, and following district rules on eligibility and conduct.
The Payette High School administration and Athletic Director will select the Assistant Boys Basketball Coach.
The Assistant Boys Basketball Coach supports the development of high school student-athletes by fostering skill development, positive attitudes, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Emphasis is placed on age-appropriate instruction, participation, and the development of habits of physical activity, responsibility, and respect.
Employment is approved by the Board of Trustees and in accordance with federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy.
All employees and applicants are required to undergo a criminal history check and fingerprinting. Applicants convicted of felony crimes enumerated in Idaho Code § 33-1208 may not be hired.
Performance of this position will be evaluated periodically by the building principal in conformance with district policy and IDAPA 08.02.02.120.
