Summary

Kiddie Academy of Hunter's Creek is seeking a nurturing, passionate, and energetic Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our young students.


Duties
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Observe and document children's progress, ensuring they meet developmental milestones
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
  • Communicate regularly with parents and families about their child's progress and development
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to share best practices and provide support
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting
  • Ability to create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with young children and a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Ability to maintain a positive, patient, and nurturing demeanor
  • Certifications in First Aid and CPR preferred
