Job summary

The MGM Resorts International unit New York-New York in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Beverage Manager to lead high-volume beverage operations along the Las Vegas Strip, delivering outstanding guest experiences and beverage quality. You will supervise daily operations, develop talent, manage labor, and coordinate stock and inventory to maximize revenue while upholding the brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience as a beverage/restaurant manager preferred.
• Experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned operational functions within the department in line with the strategic plan.
• Direct labor, scheduling, and inventory control for cost-effective operations.
• Oversee guest service delivery in line with brand standards and service levels.
• Provide shift supervision to ensure quality guest service.
• Coordinate requisitions and stock for beverage outlets to maximize revenue.
• Guide and coach staff; ensure proper scheduling.
• Provide management input on daily operational issues.
