Job summary

The Learning Consultants in Sparks, Nevada, is seeking an Assistant Behavior Consultant to join our compassionate, clinician-led team. You will support senior Consultants by implementing ABA-based treatment plans for children with ASD, delivering high-quality, ethical services in a supportive clinic setting.

You will gain supervision, opportunities for professional development, and a flexible schedule while focusing on client progress, parent training, case management, and compliance with BACB

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field with emphasis in behavior analysis.
  • BACB-Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and Nevada Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst eligibility.
  • 1 year experience providing ABA services for young children with autism and related disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral treatment plans and PBSPs.
  • Accelerate client progress through developing individualized skill-building programs and ongoing assessment.
  • Management of direct reports.
  • Case management and coordination of care.
  • Follow internal policies and procedures.

Job description

The Learning Consultants is a primarily woman-owned and run company comprised of passionate and high-performing behavior analysts who provide ABA services to children with ASD and other behavioral disorders in our Sparks, Nevada clinic. We are looking for talented and energetic Assistant Behavioral Consultants to join our team.

The LC is a performance-based organization focused on supporting our providers in delivering high-quality services. At the LC, we believe that learners have the best outcomes when their providers have the time, tools, and resources to deliver the best service. As an Assistant Consultant you will work side-by-side with our Consultants, supporting them in delivering high-quality, ethical services. You will receive excellent experience and supervision, supporting you on your career path in behavior analysis. Consultants have ample time for non-face-to-face activities, which means they have time for developing you! Plus, our team includes a dedicated compliance director focused on managing systems that ensure ethical and compliant service delivery.

Job Duties
  • Implement behavioral treatment plans and PBSPs
  • Accelerate client progress through developing individualized skill-building programs, establishing measurement systems, and ongoing assessment, and parent training
  • Management of direct reports
  • Case management and coordination of care
  • Follow internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations and requirements of the BACB
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field (e.g., education) with a strong emphasis in behavior analysis
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and qualifies as a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst in Nevada
  • 1 year experience providing applied behavior analysis services for young children with autism and related disorders
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 or more years experience:
    • Writing treatment plans and positive behavior support plans (PBSPs)
    • Designing instructional programs
    • Utilizing a variety of teaching/instructional formats, including Precision Teaching
