Sheppard Pratt School is a dedicated nonpublic special education day school serving students aged 12 to 21 with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other health impairments. We are committed to providing comprehensive educational, therapeutic, and daily living services tailored to each student's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior during interventions.
  • Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments and monitor progress.
  • Train and support caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Education and experience combinations:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
  • Associate degree with 2 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience.
  • Must meet Sheppard Pratt's requirements for operating a company vehicle:
  • Be 18 years or older with at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Driving record with 2 points or less over the past 3 years.
