Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital seeks an Assistant Behavior Analyst to support autism services in Downtown Orlando. You will manage cases, design programs, collect data, and present findings with supervision from a BCBA.

The role involves collaborating with families, preparing training materials, and maintaining accurate charts and progress reports for weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required.
• BCaBA certification or higher required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Pass BCaBA approved classes and exam required.

Responsibilities

• Design acquisition and deceleration programs, treatment plans, data sheets, and graphs.
• Develop training materials up-to-date with current technologies.
• Collect and analyze data; update graphs at least weekly.
• Present case studies and data to supervisor and in staff meetings.
• Communicate with parents to ensure consumer service model is followed.
• Complete quarterly reviews of programs, data, and progress for all cases.
• Ensure data and charting are updated and accurate.
• Conduct individual teaching sessions and assist in data collection and research studies.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and perform other duties as required.

Assistant Behavior Analyst (Autism Center, Downtown Orlando) (Finance)

Located in Orlando, FL, Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. The Assistant Behavior Analyst will:

• Management of cases that includes communicating with parents/caregivers and other therapists to address issues such as data collection, graphing, and programmatic decisions.
• Design acquisition and deceleration programs, treatment plans, data sheets, and graphs to meet goals for each assigned child with supervision of BCBA.
• Develop training materials that are up to date with current technologies in the field as needed.
• Collect and analyze data for each child's performance - graphs must be updated at least weekly.
• Present case studies and data to supervisor and in group staff meetings.
• Communicate with parents to ensure that the consumer service model is followed.
• Complete quarterly reviews of programs, data, and progress on all assigned cases.
• Ensure data and charting for all assigned cases are updated and accurate.
• Conduct individual teaching sessions for each child as assigned.Assist in data collection and research studies.
• Attend all weekly staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as required

Qualified Candidates will:

• Must have a Baccalaureate (up to 3-4 years of formal training/education beyond high school; e.g. Bachelor's Degree)
• B.A or B.S in Psychology or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
  Pass BcaBA approved classes and exam.
• BCaBA certification or higher is required. Must complete all onboarding and insurance documentation prior to hire date.
