The Assistant Basketball Coach provides support to the head coach in managing and developing the activities of the college athletic team. The primary functions include assisting with practice planning, developing student‑athlete skills, promoting academic success, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
Incumbents typically perform their work in offices and athletic facilities. The job may involve physical fitness and athletic training, accompany students on competition trips, and travel to regional or central meetings and conferences. Reasonable accommodation will be made for candidates with physical limitations.
Season salary: $7,011.
