Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with planning and conducting practices, games, training sessions, and team activities.
• Teach and reinforce baseball fundamentals, skills, techniques, and game strategies.
• Support player evaluations, tryouts, skill development, and team performance.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, respect, and positive character development.
• Serve as a positive role model and maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability.
• Reinforce expectations for attendance, punctuality, academic achievement, and team commitment.
• Monitor student‑athlete eligibility and academic progress in coordination with the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
• Provide appropriate supervision of student‑athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
• Promote a safe athletic environment and follow all district safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Assist with team equipment, uniforms, facilities, scheduling, and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with student‑athletes, parents, school staff, and athletic personnel.
• Attend required coaching meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Athletic Director, or building administration.
