• Monitor student‑athlete eligibility and academic progress in coordination with the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
• Provide appropriate supervision of student‑athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
• Promote a safe athletic environment and follow all district safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Assist with team equipment, uniforms, facilities, scheduling, and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with student‑athletes, parents, school staff, and athletic personnel.
• Attend required coaching meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Athletic Director, or building administration.

Position Summary

Harry S Truman High School, part of Bristol Township School District, is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Assistant Baseball Coach to support the development and success of its baseball program.

The Assistant Coach will work collaboratively with the Head Coach and Athletic Director to develop student‑athletes' skills, promote academic achievement, and foster teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and school pride.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting practices, games, training sessions, and team activities.

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprints (Act 114)

Some additional paperwork includes Arrest/Conviction Report form, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), physician’s health form and recently completed TB test.
