Job summary

Orange Lutheran High School seeks an Assistant Baseball Coach to support the Head Coach in organizing and instructing the baseball program. You will help run practices, motivate student-athletes, and teach in-game strategies to prepare for competition.

Reports to the Head Coach and Athletic Director. Responsibilities include supervising athletes during practices and games, maintaining equipment, and assisting with awards and events.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education and be able to meet background and clearance requirements.
• Qualified candidates will hold CPR and First Aid certifications and NFHS coaching certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with instructing players on rules, equipment, and techniques.
• Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities as directed by head coach.
• Assist with game strategy and supervising athletes during practices and competitions.
• Maintain equipment room and distribute equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Participate in end-of-season awards and special events.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Baseball Coach position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with organizing and instructing the baseball program at Orange Lutheran High School.
