Job Description: Assistant Manager

Position Classification: Full Time

A Walk-On's Manager is responsible for inspiring leadership of the team, driving sales and profits, and having hands-on experience in all aspects of the store. We are committed to our systems that support our unique brand positioning and the Walk-On's Way.

Responsibilities:
  1. Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  2. Supervise bar operations to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to beverage regulations.
  3. Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to standards.
  4. Achieve sales, service, quality, appearance, and sanitation goals through employee training and a positive work environment.
  5. Control cash and receipts by following cash handling procedures.
  6. Assist in various duties to ensure guest service and operational efficiency.
  7. Prepare necessary paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
  8. Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality through inspections and preventive maintenance.
  9. Ensure correct receipt and condition of deliveries according to policies.
  10. Schedule labor based on business needs, ensuring proper staffing and controlling labor costs.
  11. Administer corrective actions fairly and promptly for policy violations.
  12. Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  13. Implement marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
