A Walk-On's Manager is responsible for inspiring leadership of the team, driving sales and profits, and having hands-on experience in all aspects of the store. We are committed to our systems that support our unique brand positioning and the Walk-On's Way.
Responsibilities:
- Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Supervise bar operations to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to beverage regulations.
- Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to standards.
- Achieve sales, service, quality, appearance, and sanitation goals through employee training and a positive work environment.
- Control cash and receipts by following cash handling procedures.
- Assist in various duties to ensure guest service and operational efficiency.
- Prepare necessary paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality through inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure correct receipt and condition of deliveries according to policies.
- Schedule labor based on business needs, ensuring proper staffing and controlling labor costs.
- Administer corrective actions fairly and promptly for policy violations.
- Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Implement marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
- Proven success and upward career progression.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with management and staff as a team.
