Base pay range

$60,000.00/hr - $62,000.00/hr

GENERAL PURPOSE

The primary focus of this position includes coordinating assigned group catering details, including food, beverage, and room setups, as well as administrative tasks such as billing, scheduling, and other managerial duties.

Assists the Banquet and Events Manager in supervising all staff members, including Banquet Servers, Bartenders, and Convention Services staff.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manage departmental inventories and assets, including par levels and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain attendance logs for banquet employees.
  • Enforce sanitation standards.
  • Follow all policies and procedures (SOPs, LSOPs, etc.).
  • Ensure employee awareness of event phases and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Understand the impact of banquet operations on event success and manage activities to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in scheduling banquet staff to meet service standards and optimize profits.
  • Lead and participate in banquet team activities.
  • Attend relevant meetings.
  • Lead shifts and actively service events.
  • Enhance knowledge of food and wine pairings, cuisine, and event presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and set a positive example.
  • Interact with guests for feedback and handle complaints.
  • Empower employees to deliver excellent service and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure employees understand expectations and observe service behaviors, providing feedback.
