Job Profile
The bank is recruiting an Assistant Banking Center Manager who will provide a broad base of financial and credit services.
Assist other departments as needed, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, while treating others with respect and consideration, regardless of their status or position.
Education Level
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (desired)
Work Experience
- 4–5 years of relevant job experience (desired)
- 2+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience (desired)
- 3–4 years of cash handling or financial service experience (desired)
License / Certification
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license (may not be a learner’s, restricted, or “to and from work” license) and driving history that meets the Bank’s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the SAFE Act, and NBH’s compliance policies related to these requirements, including acceptable background check investigation results.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Be an active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure, and established policies as you work with and for others.
- Operate as an effective communicator who can stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
- Perform in a role that has detailed work as a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently while working within established guidelines.
- Train and coach a successful team utilizing strong decision‑making skills under the input from Banking Center leadership.
- Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- A passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies available at the bank
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as cash back and percentages
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to think logically, to analyze situations, and to make sound decisions
- Bilingual language skills
- Capacity to work with multiple computers and software systems
- Passionate and motivated self‑starter
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
Working Conditions
- Able to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise, and hold hands and arms overhead.
- Must be able to work overtime to the extent necessary (typically no more than 5%).
