Responsibilities

• Assist band director in promoting band activities in the school and community.
• Assist the band director in planning the music program and organizing practices.
• Assist the band director in teaching fundamentals, team plans, and rules.
• Assist in teaching good sportsmanship and self-control to students.
• Check eligibility of participants, including insurance and parent consent.
• Provide guidance and act as a positive role model for students.
• Conduct learning experiences with small groups under supervision.
• Recommend equipment, supplies and uniforms as appropriate.
