Pay Range: $15.50 - $23.00

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Assists the bakery manager with overseeing daily operations, ensuring policies and procedures regarding merchandising, sanitation, and training are followed. Inspects bakery products to maintain quality and availability, promoting sales opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Consistently work within company 5S standards to provide excellent customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
  2. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S standards.
  3. Assist with bakery operations such as preparation, baking, merchandising, and presentation of bakery products.
  4. Run the department in the manager's absence.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
  6. Maintain proper product variety to meet customer needs.
  7. Adhere to sanitation regulations, keeping work stations clean and sanitary.
  8. Handle customer special orders.
  9. Assist in training bakery associates to meet performance standards.
  10. Follow safety policies and procedures, training staff accordingly.
  11. Assist bakery manager with inventory management, including freezer, cooler, supplies, and 'Deco Pac'.
  12. Learn financial aspects such as paperwork, shrink, transfer sales, and budgets.
  13. Control shrink by adhering to related policies.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies.
