Job summary

Price Chopper is seeking a bakery associate to provide fast, friendly service while supporting bakery operations in a retail store setting. You will assist the bakery manager with daily tasks, ensure product quality and presentation, train new associates, and maintain sanitation and 5S standards to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, handling special orders, and helping in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful customer service at all times.
• Assist bakery operations, including preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products.
• Run the department in the absence of the manager and ensure customer satisfaction through product availability and quality.
• Adhere to sanitation regulations and maintain a neat, clean workstation; assist in training bakery associates.
