Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Henderson, NV is seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. You will join a dynamic team and help craft artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads using honest, whole ingredients.

The role requires standing and walking most shifts, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work afternoons and Sunday shifts. Previous large-scale baking experience is preferred, and formal baking education is a bonus.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

• Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads. Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies all weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required.
• The ability to work through change & be able to be flexible all while keeping a close eye on what's cooking!
• The schedule availability to work afternoons/nights. Bread Baking shifts start around 11 am - 7 pm, plus a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons the Bread Baking team schedule may flex into overnight shifts too

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person!)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus!
