State of Washington Office of the State Auditor is seeking a Central King County Temporary ASA 5 – Assistant Audit Manager for a 6-month assignment. This posting is open to internal candidates only; you must be currently employed by the Office of the Washington State Auditor.

The Assistant Audit Manager serves as the first line supervisor for audit staff, directing AICs and staff on audits, reviewing plans and workpapers for compliance with SAO standards, and assisting staff with problem solving

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit staff and direct AICs on audits.
• Review plans and workpapers for quality control and compliance.
• Mentor staff and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate on-site meetings with staff and auditees.
