• Bachelor’s degree with at least three college-level accounting courses or equivalent experience.
• Total experience varies by level: 4–6 years of business or relevant experience with some accounting/auditing.
• Equivalents in education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct risk-based financial and legal compliance audits.
• Audit Washington State agencies and local governments.
• Mentor in-training staff and provide guidance.
• Perform special investigations related to citizen concerns or fraud.
