The Office of the Attorney General for the State of Florida seeks a licensed attorney to handle criminal appeals from the District Court of Appeal to the Florida Supreme Court. Responsibilities include directing timely filings, researching issues, and presenting State positions in briefs and oral arguments.
Additionally, you will oversee federal habeas corpus proceedings, respond to constitutional claims, supervise exhibit preparation, and handle related post-trial matters.

CRIMINAL APPEALS: Represent the State of Florida in all criminal appeals filed with the District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court.
This position requires as a prerequisite to employment a degree of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and membership in the Florida Bar.
