UCF Athletics - Sports Medicine seeks an Athletic Trainer to manage care and prevention of injuries for women's volleyball and other sports, under team physicians and NCAA rules. Responsibilities include emergency care, injury prevention, pre-participation screenings, and health documentation.
Responsibilities also involve collaboration with medical staff, supervising student trainers, maintaining facilities and equipment, and ensuring compliance with athletic training standards.
Under the direction of the Associate A.D. / Director of Sports Medicine, the Athletic Trainer assists in the management of the overall Athletics Sports Medicine program within athletics, university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations, and, under the direction of team physicians, is responsible for the care and prevention of injuries for women’s volleyball and other possible assigned sports and student-athletes.

Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
