Under general supervision, the Assistant Athletic Trainer provides injury and illness prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and health care management for student-athletes in the intercollegiate athletics program. The position administers medical policies and insurance procedures, conducts physical examinations, follows risk management protocols, and communicates with student-athletes, coaches, parents, health care providers, and campus stakeholders.
