The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide injury and illness prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and health‑care management for student‑athletes in the intercollegiate athletics program. The role administers medical policies and insurance procedures, conducts physical examinations, follows risk‑management protocols, and communicates with student‑athletes, coaches, parents, health‑care providers, and campus stakeholders.
Work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. Requires moderate physical activity and handling of objects up to 25 pounds. May involve standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Salary Range: $52,100.00 – $65,100.00, based on qualifications and internal equity.
