Henderson State University is seeking an assistant athletic trainer to support its NCAA Division II athletics program. The role involves sports coverage, training room supervision, and requires specific qualifications including NATA certification and a master's degree. Position: Henderson State University, an NCAA Division II member of the Great American Conference, is accepting applications for the position of assistant athletic trainer.
Job Description: The assistant athletic trainer will report to the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine for all matters pertaining to Henderson State University athletics. Duties may include, but are not limited to: sports coverage with travel, and athletic training room supervision.

In pursuit of this commitment, NATA certification, eligibility for Arkansas Athletic Training licensure and a master’s degree are required. The well qualified candidate will have experience in teaching, and experience working as an athletic trainer in collegiate athletics. The successful applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is acceptable to the university and be able to lift 30lbs unaided.
