This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with teaching, research, and service responsibilities. Ultimately, D’Amore-McKim’s values-driven culture and cross-border approach to learning and research empower our students, faculty, alumni, and corporate partners to create impact far beyond the confines of time, discipline, degree, and campus.**Summary of Responsibilities:**The successful candidate will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in accounting areas including financial, tax, audit or data analytics and/or related subjects; participate in service to the Accounting Group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline; and develop an appropriate independent research program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a Scholarly Academic. The successful candidate will be able to teach courses covering topics in financial accounting, tax, auditing, or data analytics. Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach courses related to financial accounting, tax and data analytics.Teaching Professor* teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs (60%)* research to maintain scholarly academic status (20%)* services to the Accounting group, DMSB and the University (20%) **Qualifications:**Candidates for Teaching Professor must have a doctorate in accounting or a closely related field by the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at ranks above the entry-level must have at least 4 years of college teaching and/or professional experience.
