Reporting to the Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Assistant/Associate/Senior Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations role requires positive, productive, and ongoing interaction with faculty, senior administration, trustee volunteers, and major donor prospects. The CFR team plays a critical role in finding funding for projects and specialized research, often serving as a bridge between researchers and private foundations.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The salary range for this position is based on the listed levels, with the final salary determined by various factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Thisposition requires a Bachelor’s degree; a graduate degree is preferred. For the Assistant Director level, 1-3 years of professional-level experience incorporate and foundation fundraising; for the Associate Director level, 3-5years; and for the Senior Associate Director level, a minimum of 5 years. Preferencefor experience at a complex institution of higher education or a hospital ateach level. A combination of corporate, foundation, or organizational fundraising and other directly transferable experience from fields such as government grant-seeking or corporate philanthropy will be considered for all levels.
Tobe eligible for consideration for the Senior Associate Director, a candidatemust demonstrate leadership, self-direction, initiative, and problem-solvingability and successfully manage a major corporate and/or foundation prospectportfolio.
Theposition requires excellent interpersonal skills; a demonstrated ability to compose strong, clearly written material, including general correspondence and major proposals that articulate funding priorities. In addition, the successful candidate willhave a demonstrated ability to speak and write persuasively on highereducation; a working knowledge of research resources for corporate and foundation fundraising; and familiarity with Windows PCs, the Microsoft Office suite, and the Google suite.
