Job summary

TSR is seeking an Associate Scientist, Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, to support the materials and cryogenics group. The role focuses on cryogenics, consumables, and single-use systems enabling commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Global Procurement on cross-functional teams. The candidate handles material control evaluations, validations, and lifecycle management, and supports cryogenics

Qualifications

• BS with 2+ years of industry experience or MSc in a related field.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Awareness of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of protein analytical tools and lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Support material and cryogenics technical evaluations, risk assessments, and change management activities.
• Execute material control strategies, validations, and qualifications, including life-cycle management.
• Evaluate and manage supplier change notifications for materials to maintain GMP compliance.
• Support cryogenics and cold-chain transportation lab studies and related activities.
• Assist with materials and cryogenics manufacturing investigations.
• Author and revise CMC documents as appropriate.
• Author protocols, reports, and technical presentations.

We are seeking an Associate Scientist, Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, to support the Materials and Cryogenics Science group. The role will focus on cryogenics, consumables, and single-use systems that enable commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The Associate Scientist will collaborate with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Global Procurement on cross-functional teams.

• Execute material control strategies, validations, and qualifications, including life-cycle management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum BS with 2+ years of industry experience, or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent scientific background.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Awareness of cGMP and regulatory agency requirements.
• Knowledge of common protein analytical tools and demonstrated experimental laboratory skills.
• Strong organizational, oral communication, and technical writing skills with attention to detail and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Effective team player and strong individual contributor.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of manufacturing process validation.
• Experience with cryogenics, cold-chain transportation, and single-use systems for bioprocessing.
